It combines high ground clearance with the best body stability along with the proven 4MOTION all-wheel drive. The result: traction in virtually every situation, even with high tensile loads and payloads.
The standard 2+1 leaf springs offer high driving comfort and a maximum payload of 842 kg, while the optional 3+2 leaf springs increase the payload to up to 985 kg.
The 150 kW2 and 165 kW3 six-cylinder turbodiesel engines with 3.0 l capacity have more than enough reserves even in the most demanding situations. Additional power comes from the overboost function, which briefly increases the performance of the V6 165 kW TDI engine by up to 180 kW depending on the driving situation.
The new Amarok’s interior boasts plenty of space and numerous storage options, including storage on the dash panel, spacious compartments under the front seats and four cup holders. Countless extras ensure a comfortable drive and safe journey.
In the new Amarok Aventura, the driver and front passenger will enjoy the journey on ergoComfort seats. As well as electrical 12-way adjustment, both leather seats come with manual 2-way adjustment and have been awarded the AGR seal of approval** for outstanding ergonomics.

Safety on almost any terrain: The new Amarok is the only pick-up in its class to come with an Automatic Post-Collision Braking System, 17-inch disc brakes at the front and 16-inch disc brakes in the rear as standard. What’s more, the trailer stabilisation system provides the best possible protection against snaking trailers.
